National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week

The Ship Honors Program Service Committee is running a donation drive for homeless members of the Shippensburg community.

Donations can be dropped off at the Honors Office (Horton Hall 201), the front desk at Naugle Hall, and the Social Work Resource Lounge (located on the 3rd floor of Shippen Hall).

Donations will be taken from Monday, November 5 through Thursday, November 8.

Donation Needs:

• Plain White Tube Socks
• Unscented bars of soap (or ivory)
• Shampoo- travel size, unscented if possible
• Unscented deodorant
• Sandwich/Snack Size Ziploc Bags
• Toothbrush Travel Holders
• Toothbrushes
• Travel Sized Sun Screen
• Biodegradable Laundry Detergent- travel size or powder
• Waterproof Match Holders
• Scarves
• Gloves
• Rain Ponchos
• 2-Person Tents (dark colors- green, black, navy, brown)
• Hiking Backpacks (dark colors- green, black, navy, brown)
• Washcloths
• Bug spray
• Gallon Ziploc Bags
• Q-tips
• Toilet Paper
• Soap Travel Holders
• Toothpaste
• Small First Aid Kits
• Combs
• Beanie Hats
• Blankets
• Small Flashlights
